When you think about the word “beach” you probably think of yellow or white sand between your toes, rolling blue waves, bright sunlight and a beer or fruity cocktail. But some beaches come in far more different shapes and colors just like people do. Here are some beaches that, in one way or another, might not be anything like the beaches you’re used to.
Glass Beach in California
Glass Beach is a beach in MacKerricher State Park near Fort Bragg, California that is abundant in sea glass created from years of dumping garbage into an area of coastline near the northern part of the town.
